Well, dear reader, grab your life jackets because we're about to dive into the rollicking waves of this word's history.

There's a term out there that's sure to either draw laughs or turn heads when dropped into conversation, and it's "motorboating." Some may know what it means, others may blush once it's explained, and some may scratch their heads in complete bafflement. What in the world do motorboats have to do with anything, especially when it comes to breasts? Well, dear reader, grab your life jackets because we're about to dive into the rollicking waves of this word's history.

The Maritime Connection

First and foremost, let's get one thing straight - yes, there is an actual connection between motorboating and the watercraft. As you may know, motorboats create a particular sound and motion when they're speeding through water. The term "motorboating," in its colloquial usage, is derived from the mimicking of this motion and sound in a rather intimate context - usually involving a pair of breasts and a willing participant's face.

Motorboat

Etymology Escapades

Tracing the exact origin of 'motorboating' in the context of breasts can be a bit like trying to find a specific wave in the ocean. The term has been used in various circles, often informally and away from the prying eyes of mainstream media or academia, which makes its history a bit murky. What we do know, however, is that the term was being used well before "Wedding Crashers" introduced it to a wider audience. Urban Dictionary, our modern beacon of slang enlightenment, has an entry for 'motorboat' dating back to 2003. While it's challenging to pinpoint the exact year the term first cropped up, it's clear it's been part of our vernacular for at least a few decades, quietly bubbling under the surface before making a splash in popular culture.

No public motorboating sign

The Pop Culture Effect

The term came into mainstream use, and dare we say, 'popularity,' primarily through its appearance in pop culture. It was featured prominently in a scene from the 2005 comedy film "Wedding Crashers," where Vince Vaughn's character enthusiastically explains to Owen Wilson's character the pleasures of motorboating. The term was met with a mix of laughter and cringes, ultimately adding to its humor quotient.

Social Media and Beyond

Thanks to the power of the internet, the term soon picked up steam and became a viral sensation. Social media platforms, memes, and even some daring talk-show hosts began using it, further cementing its place in the modern lexicon. Today, it’s recognized by many as an amusing, if not slightly cheeky, part of our vocabulary.

Motorboating

Conclusion

So, there you have it - the history of the term motorboating in all its hilarious, smile-worthy glory. It's become a part of the cultural fabric, a testament to the influence of pop culture, humor, and yes, our favorite: the fascination with breasts. Happy boating, folks!

Rear vs Rack: How Preferences Have Changed Through Time and Across Cultures

There's no denying that preferences vary across cultures and time, especially when it comes to body aesthetics. This article focuses on the shift in preference between breasts and buttocks throughout the ages and across cultures, based on historical art, literature, and sociological studies. Buckle up and let's take this intriguing ride through time and across continents.

Introduction

Before we dive into the bosom of our discussion or bottom out on our key points, let’s be clear - we're all about appreciating diversity and the beauty of the human form. However, there's no denying that preferences vary across cultures and time, especially when it comes to body aesthetics. This article focuses on the shift in preference between breasts and buttocks throughout the ages and across cultures, based on historical art, literature, and sociological studies. Buckle up and let's take this intriguing ride through time and across continents.

Historical Perspective

Travel back to the ancient cultures of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Statues and frescoes alike show both breasts and buttocks were equally celebrated, but in different contexts - fertility, beauty, power. Moving forward to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, we see the figure of women in art becoming fuller, with a notable shift towards the bust.

Women in Egypt

Now, stroll into the Victorian era, an interesting period where modesty was key and bodies were hidden under layers of clothing. Here, a woman's 'assets' were more inferred than openly displayed, but certain trends did exist.

Victorian Era women

Fast forward to the 20th century - a roller coaster ride of body preferences! The Roaring Twenties flappers went for a flatter chest, while the post-World War II era saw a return to fuller figures (think Marilyn Monroe).

Marilyn Monroe

Cultural Perspective

On a global scale, things get even more fascinating. Western societies traditionally favored the bosom, yet recent trends show an increasing admiration for the derrière, a shift made popular by celebrities and fitness influencers.

Emily Ratajkowski

On the other hand, Eastern cultures, like India, China, and Japan, traditionally haven't shown a marked preference for either breasts or buttocks, placing more emphasis on other aspects of female beauty such as complexion or facial features.

Ming Xi, chinese model

African societies often traditionally placed a higher value on the buttocks, with cultures such as the Himba and Ndebele seeing them as symbols of fertility and desirability. Latin American cultures, meanwhile, have a well-known appreciation for both attributes, with beauty standards heavily influenced by curves.

South African Woman

Psychological and Biological Factors

Biologically speaking, breasts and buttocks signal fertility and health, key factors in the evolutionary game of attraction. But psychological factors, societal influences, and media representation also play their part in shaping our preferences.

Biological Factors - Speakman's Perspective

Professor John R. Speakman, in his 2018 research titled "The Evolution of Body Fatness: Trading Off Disease and Predation Risk," proposed an intriguing theory. His work suggests that our body fatness, including both breasts and buttocks, evolved as a balance between the risks of predation and disease. Interestingly, the fat stored in these areas is thought to serve as a caloric reserve during periods of food shortage, and could indicate health and fertility.

"The Evolution of Body Fatness" article

Attraction to Fat Deposits - An Evolutionary Standpoint

From an evolutionary standpoint, Speakman's theory can provide insights into why different cultures might prefer one body feature over another. Where food scarcity was a concern, cultures might have favored more noticeable fat deposits, such as larger breasts or buttocks, as an indicator of health and fertility. Conversely, in societies where food was plentiful or disease was the primary risk, slender figures might have been preferred. This evolutionary perspective lends a fascinating layer to our understanding of cultural body preferences.

Different women

Conclusion

From ancient societies to modern cultures, it's clear that the 'breasts vs buttocks' debate varies greatly across time and cultures. The shifting trends are a testament to the evolving perceptions of beauty, influenced by society, media, and individual tastes.

Future Perspectives

Predicting future trends is always tricky and my guess is that it’s likely that norms of beauty will keep evolving. One thing’s for sure, whether it’s the breast or the buttock in the spotlight, we admire both and the celebration of the human form in all its diverse beauty isn’t going anywhere soon.

Here's to celebrating all body types. Whether you're more of a 'boobs' or a 'butts' appreciator, let's remember - beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.

Breasts in Art: A Historical Perspective

Do you remember the first time you encountered the 'Venus of Willendorf'? If your memory needs a little jog, let me paint you a picture (pun intended). The Venus of Willendorf is a tiny limestone figurine carved some 25,000 years ago, featuring a woman with ample curves and pronounced breasts. Historians believe these exaggerated features symbolize fertility and the nurturing aspects of womanhood. Fast forward to the present day, and the fascination with breasts in art persists, albeit taking on different forms and meanings.

Historians believe these exaggerated features symbolize fertility and the nurturing aspects of womanhood. Fast forward to the present day, and the fascination with breasts in art persists, albeit taking on different forms and meanings.

Isis statue

Egyptian Era

Breasts have often been a focal point in art, playing pivotal roles in symbolizing various themes, from fertility and beauty to power and femininity. During the ancient Egyptian era, goddesses were often depicted bare-chested, symbolizing fertility and motherhood. Isis, the goddess of motherhood and magic, was frequently portrayed nursing her son Horus, signifying the nurturing aspect of femininity.

Aphrodite statue

Greeks and Romans

The Greeks, known for their love of symmetry and ideal beauty, showcased breasts in a more aesthetic manner. Statues of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, beauty, and fertility, often displayed her in the nude, with her breasts signifying allure and eroticism. The Roman era followed suit, with Venus, the Roman equivalent of Aphrodite, often depicted similarly.

Kamasutra book

Indian Culture and the Kamasutra

The beauty of the human form, including breasts, also found expression in the Indian subcontinent. Intricately carved sculptures in ancient temples showcased women in various stages of undress, the fullness of their breasts symbolizing fertility and sensuality. These artistic representations reflect the liberal attitude towards sexuality in ancient Indian society, as also evidenced in the Kamasutra, an ancient Indian text on erotic love and sexuality.

Mayan goddess Ixchel

Mesoamerican Cultures

The art of Mesoamerican cultures also provides intriguing insights into their perception of breasts. The Mayans, for instance, portrayed women with exposed breasts in their pottery and sculptures, symbolizing the role of women as life-givers. Their goddess Ixchel, associated with motherhood and fertility, was often depicted with heavy, drooping breasts, symbolizing her role as a nourisher.

Geisha painting

Asian Culture/History

Asian cultures, too, have their unique artistic expressions of breasts. In traditional Japanese art, for instance, the focus was less on the size of the breasts and more on the nape of the neck, which was considered an epitome of femininity and sensuality. However, the modern era has seen a shift, with manga and anime often exaggerating the size of female characters' breasts, reflecting changing perceptions and influences.

Botticelli The Birth of Venus

Middle Ages and The Renaissance

In the Middle Ages, the portrayal of breasts took a back seat, aligning with the period's modesty and religious piety. However, the Renaissance saw a revival of the nude female form in art. Artists like Botticelli and Titian returned to the Greco-Roman tradition of presenting the female form as a symbol of beauty and sensuality.

Judy Chicago painting

20th and 21st Centuries

Fast forward to the 20th and 21st centuries, the depiction of breasts in art became more diverse, often challenging societal norms and questioning existing beauty standards. Artists like Judy Chicago and Hannah Wilke used the motif of breasts in their feminist art to challenge the objectification of the female body and promote body positivity.

The Influence of Pop Culture on Breast Depiction

In the age of social media and pop culture, breasts have taken on a whole new level of prominence. From music videos to fashion trends, the depiction of breasts has moved beyond classical art and permeated every corner of modern visual culture. This shift has sparked conversations about over-sexualization, body positivity, and the fine line between artistic expression and objectification. It has also opened up new avenues for dialogue about breast health and cancer awareness.

Beer and breasts ad

Breasts in Advertising

The use of breasts in advertising is another compelling aspect of this narrative. Companies have long utilized the allure of breasts to market products, ranging from lingerie to even completely unrelated items like cars or beer. This strategy, while successful in grabbing attention, has often been criticized for perpetuating unrealistic beauty standards and for its potential to reduce women to mere sexual objects. However, with an increasing demand for authenticity and representation in advertising, we're starting to see a shift towards more diverse and realistic portrayals of breasts.

Breasts and feminism

Breasts and Feminism

The feminist movement has also had a significant impact on how breasts are viewed and portrayed in society. Feminists have fought for the right to go topless, normalize breastfeeding in public, and challenge the sexualization of female bodies. Art has often been a tool in these endeavors, with artists creating pieces that emphasize the power, beauty, and natural function of breasts, rather than focusing solely on their sexual appeal. This wave of empowerment has brought about a new era of breast representation that champions choice, respect, and equality.

The Future of Breasts in Art

As we cast our gaze to the future, we can anticipate an even greater evolution in the depiction of breasts in art. Advances in technology, such as virtual and augmented reality, offer new ways to express and interpret this classic symbol. Artists may leverage these tools to challenge existing notions of beauty, femininity, and sensuality, creating immersive experiences that generate empathy and understanding. As we become more comfortable discussing topics that were once taboo, we may see more diverse representations of breasts in art. This could include realistic depictions of mastectomy scars, breastfeeding, and the natural aging process of breasts. The future of breasts in art will likely mirror the ongoing societal shift towards body positivity and acceptance, ensuring this timeless symbol remains relevant and provocative for generations to come.

Their presence in art underscores their symbolic importance across cultures and through the ages.

Who Invented Breast Augmentation?

Lights, camera, scalpel! Welcome to a voyage through time where vanity takes a new form, and surgeons become artists. Breast augmentation, known to many as the 'boob job', is a surgical procedure that has changed the game of physical beauty. But who do we credit for this groundbreaking invention? Let's take a peek behind the surgical curtain.

Vicenz Czerny surgery

The birth of breast augmentation traces back to the late 19th century, but the practice really got into its stride in the 20th century. The first recorded attempt at breast augmentation surgery was by a Viennese doctor named Vincenz Czerny in 1895. Czerny transferred a benign lipoma (a fatty lump) from a patient's hip to her breast to correct asymmetry after he had removed a tumor. Inventive? Yes. Ideal? Not so much.

Breast augmentation

Between the pioneering work of Vincenz Czerny in 1895 and the silicone revolution by Cronin and Gerow in 1962, there were several attempts to enhance the female bust. However, most were far from ideal. Surgeons experimented with a range of materials for breast augmentation, including paraffin, glass balls, ivory, and even ox cartilage. The 1950s saw the introduction of injections directly into the breast, with substances like silicone and polyvinyl. Unfortunately, these methods often led to disastrous results, such as hardening, lumps, and infections. This trial and error period highlighted the need for safer, more effective methods, eventually paving the way for the silicone implants of the 1960s.

Timmy Jean Lindsey

Fast forward to the 1960s, when American plastic surgeons Thomas Cronin and Frank Gerow developed the first silicone breast implant with the Dow Corning Corporation. The first woman to have silicone implants was Timmie Jean Lindsey in 1962. The aim wasn't initially for larger breasts, but rather to correct a few chest wall deformities and lift her natural breast contour. However, she ended up opting for larger breasts on the surgeons' suggestion, and thus began the era of the modern 'boob job'.

Silicone implants

The silicone implants, despite their initial success, soon faced significant controversy. The major concern revolved around the issue of implant rupture and silicone leakage. In the 1980s and 90s, lawsuits started piling up against implant manufacturers, claiming that the silicone leaks were causing autoimmune diseases and other health problems. This led to a fourteen-year FDA ban on silicone implants for cosmetic use, starting in 1992. The ban lifted in 2006 when studies found no link between the implants and diseases. However, this period of intense scrutiny prompted the development of safer alternatives like saline and 'gummy bear' implants.

Saline implants

In the following decades, the procedure saw a myriad of innovations. Saline implants made their debut in the 1960s, offering a safer alternative if the implant ruptured. Cohesive gel silicone implants, also known as 'gummy bear' implants due to their consistency, came into existence in the 2000s, providing a more natural shape and feel.

Gummy bear implants

It's important to note, however, that the history of breast augmentation has not been without its controversies, scandals, and health scares. From silicone leaks to links with autoimmune diseases, breast implants have had their fair share of scrutiny. Yet, despite these challenges, breast augmentation remains one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries worldwide.

Breast augmentation

When it comes to natural breast sizes around the world, studies show quite a bit of variance. Countries in Northern Europe, like Finland, Norway, and Sweden, typically top the charts for the largest average breast size. Meanwhile, countries in Asia, such as China and Indonesia, often report smaller average breast sizes. However, it's essential to remember that these are averages, and there's a wide range of sizes in every country.

Breast implants market

The trend of breast augmentation also varies significantly worldwide. As per the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the United States leads the pack in the number of breast augmentation surgeries performed per year. South Korea, despite its smaller population, also stands out with a high number of procedures per capita, mainly due to its booming cosmetic surgery industry. On the other hand, countries like Japan and India have lower rates of breast augmentation surgeries. These trends are influenced by a multitude of factors, including societal beauty standards, economic prosperity, and cultural acceptance of cosmetic procedures.

Before and after boob job

From Czerny's pioneering attempt to Cronin and Gerow's silicone revolution, the journey of breast augmentation is a testament to our ever-evolving pursuit of physical perfection. These medical marvels have not only transformed our bodies, but also our perceptions of beauty, femininity, and self-confidence. So, whether it's for aesthetic pleasure or post-mastectomy reconstruction, let's raise a 'boob-shaped' pillow to these trailblazers of breast augmentation!

Are you ready to embark on a linguistic journey, a walk down mammary lane, if you will? Buckle up, because you're about to get a masterclass in the art of boob-etymology.

Are you ready to embark on a linguistic journey, a walk down mammary lane, if you will? Let's dive into the wonderfully eclectic world of synonyms, euphemisms, and colloquialisms for that term we all know and love: boobs. Buckle up, because you're about to get a masterclass in the art of boob-etymology.

Lemons as boobs

Let's start by acknowledging the fact that we, as a society, have a bizarre fascination with creating an extensive vocabulary to describe women's breasts. Seriously, there are more terms for 'boobs' than there are for 'love'. That says a lot about our collective consciousness, doesn't it?

Boob word

The term 'boobs' is a relatively recent invention, first appearing in the early 20th century. The exact origin isn't clear, but one theory suggests it's an alteration of 'bubs,' which was a 17th-century term for breasts. And from there, the floodgates of creativity were thrown wide open.

Melon boobs

So, what's in a name? Well, a lot, it turns out. From 'tatas' to 'melons', 'jugs' to 'rack', and 'fun bags' to 'bazookas', there's no shortage of colorful, hilarious, and sometimes downright strange monikers for breasts. Some of these are self-explanatory: 'melons', 'buns', and 'globes' all draw from the physical similarities between breasts and these round objects.

Milk jugs

Then we have those that are a bit more abstract. Ever wondered why we call them 'jugs'? Well, this seems to have stemmed from the resemblance between a woman's chest and the shape of two milk jugs side by side.

Beautiful small boobs

And let's not forget the classic 'twin peaks', which aside from being a fantastic TV show, is a playful nod to the mountainous nature of a woman's bosom. On the other end of the spectrum, 'mosquito bites' and 'fried eggs' are used to humorously describe smaller breasts.

bosom meaning

Some terms are more sophisticated than others. 'Bosom', for instance, harks back to Old English and was used in a more general sense to denote a woman's chest. It's since become a somewhat classier alternative to the more casual 'boobs'.

And of course, we have the medical and anatomical terms like 'mammary glands' and 'pectoralis major', but let's be honest, they don't exactly roll off the tongue, do they?

boobs word

So there you have it, folks - a whistle-stop tour of the myriad ways in which we've come to describe boobs. Some are cute, some are crude, and some are just plain weird, but all of them are testament to our endless fascination with the female form. So next time you're stuck for a synonym, remember this guide and unleash your inner wordsmith!

In the end, whether you call them 'hooters', 'knockers', 'baps', or 'bubbies', it's all a part of our collective love for boobs and the fun we have in expressing it. And isn't that something worth celebrating?

Christine Baranski- The grinch

Christine Baranski in the Grinch

Christine Baranski's character in the film is incredibly thirsty for Jim Carrey's Grinch, and would very badly like to take him in her loving arms. As Christmas draws closer, let us try to remember the reason for the season: Christine Baranski being overcome with frantic lust to bang a Christmas-hating monster. She caused that the Grinch hates Chrismas

Lauren Graham - Bad Santa

Lauren Graham in sexy lingerie

This elder Gilmore girl has what is probably the most memorable sexy scene in one of the most memorable Christmas movies of all time.

Lauren Graham as a hot bartender is win enough, but her as a hot bartender with a Santa fetish? Super double rainbow epic win fun time!

Penelope Cruz - Noel

Penelope Cruz in a black babydoll

Embedded here is one of the hottest dance scenes in any Christmas movie ever filmed. This is all that needs to be said about the matter. Nina (Penelope Cruz) is a beautiful young woman who has just had a fight with his boyfriend Mike (Paul Walker), and they have descover the Chrismas magic.

The Entire Cast - That One Part in Mean Girls

Mean Girls sexy scene

Okay, okay  this isn't a Christmas movie, but the other 24 are. This is, though, a video of Lacy Chabert, pre-coke-binge Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Siefred and Rachel McAdams doing a Christmas number in Santa Claus outfits.

If all high school Christmas pageants were like this, 30% of our jails would be filled with frustrated, confused and lonely former-teachers. This is that one scene that had a lot of dads sitting up a little straighter in their seats in theatres. This scene is like the Inception of sexy Christmas fantasies.

Jessica Biel - I'll Be Home For Christmas

Jessica Biel

This is one of the worst Christmas movies ever, mostly because the whole movie is sold on pre-publicly-gay Jonathan Taylor Thomas's charm.

But there is one bright point: Jessica Biel (during her 7th Heaven days, when she was running around in movies with Freddie Prinze Jr. movies wearing t-shirts and no bra in swimming pools) is featured as JTT's love interest. Based on what we know now, what a wasted few months that had to have been. Those lips could save any movie. Seriously, I still say those lips make Stealth borderline watchable.

Michelle Monaghan - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

Michelle Monaghan in a sexy Christmas dress

It is one of the most cohesive and well-made films of the last decade and highlights both Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer at their comedic best. The icing on the cake? Michelle Monaghan plays a girl in trouble that Downey has to save. Her circumstances (she plays a stripper) lead to a bunch of hot outfits... and then there is this scene in the movie that features Ms. Monoghan showing off her goods. Like all her goods

Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz

Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz Harper's Bazaar

Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz as Iris and Amanda, two lovelorn women from opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean, who arrange a home exchange to escape heartbreak during the Christmas and holiday season. Cameron Diaz's character has enough self respect to leave her guy for cheating. But Kate's has no self respect for most of the movie

Zooey Deschanel - Elf

Zooey Deschanel in Elf

Zooey Deschanel is every guy's dream girl. She's the chick they wish lived next door, so they could do really sweet things like watch her sleep.

The poster girl for the new vintage hipster movement was actually a bit rough around the edges in her breakout role as the adorable yet sarcastic love interest in Elf (back when she was still a blonde). While the gigantic age difference between her and Buddy the Elf is a bit disconcerting, it's nice to know that, at least in this fictional universe, Zooey Deschanel goes for unattractive semi-retarded funny guys.

Jenny McCarthy - Santa Baby

Jenny McCarthy as a Santa Babe

Penned by the ever-talented Garrett Frawley, Santa Baby stars Jenny McCarthy.

Santa's daughter becomes a business tycoon and returns to save Christmas? The only saving grace of this movie is Jenny McCarthy. McCarthy is classically hot. She exudes hotness no matter what crap she's mired in. They even made a Santa Baby 2, this time with her in a skirt, so bonus points on that.

You know that Jenny McCarthy is hot. You had a poster of her in a white bed 15 years ago.

Emilia Clarke - Last Chrismas

We recently caught ourselves wondering: β€œWhy do people seem to be so obsessed with boobs?” From giggling adolescents to full-grown adults, the fascination with breasts appears to be a universal phenomenon. But why do we love these pillowy mounds of flesh so much? In this fun and informative article, we'll explore the biological, historical, and cultural reasons behind our enduring love affair with boobs.

The Biological Attraction

The attraction to breasts can be traced back to our most primal instincts. From an evolutionary standpoint, men are drawn to the visual cues of fertility and health in potential mates. Breasts, as symbols of femininity and nurturing, serve as a beacon of reproductive fitness. In fact, research has shown that men who prefer larger breasts tend to be more interested in short-term relationships, while those who prefer smaller breasts are more likely to seek long-term partnerships. Hmm, maybe more research is needed…

Moreover, the act of touching or caressing breasts releases the hormone oxytocin, sometimes referred to as the "cuddle hormone." This hormone fosters feelings of trust, bonding, and affection between partners, further reinforcing the connection between boob fondling and pleasure.

A Walk Through History

Throughout history, breasts have been revered and celebrated for their life-giving and nurturing abilities. In ancient cultures, fertility goddesses were often depicted with ample bosoms, symbolizing abundance and nourishment. The Venus of Willendorf, a famous prehistoric figurine dating back to 28,000-25,000 BCE, features exaggerated breasts and hips, highlighting the importance of fertility in early human society.

Venus of Willendorf and her Big Boobs

In more recent times, artists have celebrated the beauty of breasts in paintings, sculptures, and literature. From the voluptuous curves of the Renaissance to the pin-up girls of the 1950s, the depiction of breasts has evolved alongside societal attitudes and ideals of beauty.

Pop Culture and Media Influence

Modern media has undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping our fascination with boobs. From magazine covers to billboards, breasts are often prominently displayed and sexualized to sell products and capture attention. Celebrities, too, have helped fuel the obsession, with iconic figures like Marilyn Monroe and Dolly Parton proudly flaunting their ample assets.

This constant exposure to sexualized images of breasts has conditioned us to associate them with desire and pleasure. As a result, boobs have become an emblem of sex appeal and a powerful tool for self-expression, with women embracing everything from push-up bras to cosmetic surgery in an effort to enhance their natural assets.

The Fun Factor

At the end of the day, there's something undeniably fun and playful about boobs. They're soft, bouncy, and inviting, making them irresistible to touch and admire. It's no wonder that people love indulging in activities like motorboating or resting their heads on a pair of comfy, cushiony breasts. And let's not forget the joy of discovering the world of unique boob shapes, with each set telling its own story.

In conclusion, our love for boobs stems from a complex interplay of biological, historical, and cultural factors, as well as their inherent allure as fun and comforting companions. So the next time you catch yourself admiring a beautiful pair of breasts, remember that you're in good companyβ€”after all, we're all captivated by the magic of boobs!

So why do people loves boobs so much?

Cause they’re boobs!

The Fascinating History of the Bra

From ancient Roman bikinis to $15 million Fantasy Bras, the shape of a woman’s figure has undergone countless changes and contraptions. Discover how boobs went from being bare to being pushed sky high in this fascinating lesson on the history of the bra.

The Fascinating History of the Bra

Once in a while we like to ask ourselves deep and complex questions about the various mysteries of the universe. Always boob related of course. Well today we wondered, where did the modern bra that we love and celebrate so much come from? How did women go from topless hunter gatherers to push-up bra wearing Victoria’s Secret models? From corsets to sports bras, we're digging deep into the annals of history to lay some serious booby knowledge on you.

The history of the bra

4th Century AD- Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Roman Bikinis

Mosaics depicting women wearing bikini-like athletic clothing while playing sports were discovered at a Roman Villa in Sicily. Dating from the 4th Century AD these mosaics were the first proof that Roman women wore bra-like garments. Before that wall paintings on Crete were found that showed ancient Minoan women wearing similar garments dating from the 14th century BC. Proving that even the Ancient Greeks and Romans appreciated a good Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model.

16th Century AD- Chin Pillows

Corsets in some form or other were known to be worn for hundreds of years before they finally became an everyday staple. In 1547 Catherine de Medici married King Henry II of France and brought with her the Italian custom of wearing corsets. They shaped her figure by pushing up her breasts until they created little pillows for her chin to rest on. Making her sexy silhouette the envy of every woman in France. Cementing corsets as the absolute fashion must for centuries to come. Hmmm maybe we should change the name of Booby Pillow to Chin Pillow.

The History of the Bra saw the introduction of the corset during the 16th century

1889- Over the Shoulder Boulder Holders

In 1889 a French corsetiere and feminist named Hermini Cadolle, wanted to free women from the confines of the straight jacket like corsets of the times. She invented a two piece underwear garment that cinched at the waist but had a separate brassiere with shoulder straps, allowing the women to feel supported while breathing easier. Her corselet-gorge became an instant hit across Europe. Gorge is still the word the French use for Bra today.

1914- A See Through Dress & 2 Hankies

In 1914 debutante Mary Phelps Jacob wanted to wear a sheer dress to a ball, but couldn’t because her corset would show through. Refusing to admit defeat, she had her maid sew together 2 handkerchiefs and proceeded to dance the night away as the belle of the ball. Soon women all over New York City started asking her to make them the special brassiere too. Mary eventually patented the design and sold it to a bra maker, who went on to make a fortune off of it 30 years later.

The History of the Bra 1914 introduction of the brassiere by Mary Phelps Jacob

World War I and the history of the bra

1914-WWI Defeats The Corset

With the onset of World War 1, women were asked to make several sacrifices. First give up wearing corsets to help conserve metal for the war effort and then take up active jobs while the men were away. Once women abandoned the corsets, they refused to go back to them after the war had finished. Thus ushering in the new era of the bra.

1930’s- What Size Are You?

The 1930’s saw several advancements in bra technology. The seamless bra was invented and the use of measurement charts and standard cup sizes made a shift from one size fits all to snugger more personalized matches.

The History of the Bra 1930s introduction of standard cup sizes

The History of the Bra 1950s introduction of the bullet bra during the atomic age of futuristic designs

1950’s- The Atomic Age & Bullet Bras

The Atomic Age brought an obsession with all things futuristic, from cars and furniture to the iconic bullet bras. Hollywood celebrities like Maryln Monroe and Jane Mansfield became known as the Sweater Girls for wearing tight sweaters over their giant torpedo bras.

1960s - The Playboy Bunny Outfit

Hugh Hefner modeled his iconic Playboy Bunny uniforms after the bullet bras of the 1950’s. Yearning to return the female figure to the hourglass shape of the Sweater Girls as opposed to the shapeless A-line dresses of the 60’s, and the Twiggy era.

The History of the Bra 1960s introduction of the wonder push up bra

1963- The Wonder Bra Goes Unappreciated

Invented by a Canadian lingerie company in 1963, the Wonder Bra was the first bra to push-up and lift the bust line. Making for a new rounder silhouette that would not be fully appreciated until 30 years later. Such a shame.

 1977- The Jockbra

In 1977 two female joggers were fed up with having to run in their regular bras. The underwire would chafe and the straps kept slipping off of their shoulders. Plus they couldn’t take their shirts off to cool down while they ran like the men could. After one of their husbands jokingly grabbed a jock strap and put it around his chest, saying he’d found the solution, they got the brilliant idea to sew two jock straps together. Birthing the very first sports bra. Originally called the Jockbra, they eventually renamed it the Jogbra. The Jogbra was a major success and they went on to sell their design in 1990 to a company that would later become Champion.

Madonna with pointy bra

1990’s Celebrity Lingerie & Victoria’s Secret

All through the 80’s and 90’s celebrities like Madonna brought lingerie into the world of outerwear. Making bras a visible part of the outfit. The Wonder Bra finally gained worldwide popularity and the era of the push-up bra began.

1990s - Victoria’s Secret

Founded in 1977 Victoria’s Secret didn’t hit its stride until the 1990’s. With the advent of their annual fashion show and their mega popular Angels campaign they averaged over a billion dollars in sales annually, with 350 stores across the nation. In 2000, model Gisele Bundchen made headlines for walking the runway wearing a $15 million diamond and ruby encrusted Fantasy Bra. The most expensive item of lingerie ever made at the time.

This fascinating herstory lesson has taught us that boobs have been on everyone’s mind for centuries. The bra continues to adapt and change and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next. Check out our selection of fun covers to give your Booby Pillow a historical makeover.

The 10 Sexiest Female Comic Book Characters

Celebrate National Comic Book Day on September 25th by reading about the sexiest female characters in the world of comic books. Get seduced by sultry assassins and saved by busty superheroes as we debate the merits of the deadliest and hottest female comic book characters.

The 10 Sexiest Female Comic Book Characters

Before we started playing video games and sneaking peeks at dirty magazines, there were comic books. Those dynamic pages filled with scantily clad lady heroes and villains were our first exposure to the tantalizing world of big boobies. So you might say we hold a special place in our hearts for the 10 sexiest female comic book characters. Get ready for some epic, jaw dropping, pupil dilating battles between sexy good and sexy evil!

10. Elektra

Elektra is one of the sexiest female comic book characters

This beguilingly mysterious and highly trained assassin has been enticing readers and Matt Murdock since 1981. A Greek heiress, who started training in martial arts at the age of 10, Elektra’s story is fraught with danger and tragedy. Giving her a dark and tempestuous nature that we can’t resist. Just like Daredevil, we also can’t get enough of her fiery nature and killer moves.

9. She Hulk

She Hulk sexy comic character

Back in the mid-80’s, She Hulk was the very first comic book character to break the fourth wall and address her audience. While we never complain about the amount of tantalizing cheesecake a comic book has, She Hulk was the first to poke fun at herself by commenting on the ridiculous costumes she had to wear and things she had to do in order to sell more books. We think that kind of clever and witty honesty is super sexy. Not to mention the fact that she was always jumping into bed with whoever she wanted. She Hulk was a provocative and liberated lady hero ahead of the times.

8. Cheshire

Cheshore sexy comic character

Skilled in both martial arts and the use of poisons, Cheshire is one of the most alluring and deadly assassins in the DC Comics universe. Born of a Western father and Vietnamese mother, Jade Nguyen’s life began in tragedy. Sold into slavery at the age of 10, where she killed her master and swore no man would ever rule her again. She trained with Chinese freedom fighters before marrying famed assassin, Spitting Cobra at the age of 16. After learning everything she could from her husband she then poisoned him and left him for dead. We know we should run, but this ruthless, seductive and sultry killer has enthralled us.

7. Vixen

Vixen sexy comic character

Talk about animal magnetism! The Vixen appeals to our primal nature. With the speed of a Cheetah, the brute strength of an elephant and the ferocity of a lion, the Vixen can harness the power of any animal on the planet. Dedicated to defending the innocent, human and animal alike, she fights greed and corruption all over the world. When she’s not being a celebrated human and animal rights activist, you can find her at her day job, modeling. Giving gorgeous models everywhere a good name. You know we love that!

6. Power Girl

Power Girl is one of the sexiest female comic book characters

Move over Superman there’s an even sexier superhero in town. Power Girl has all the same amazing abilities as her Kryptonian cousin, but in an even more attractive package. We love her tenacious spirit and self-reliant attitude. This super sultry hero isn’t just eye candy though, with a genius-level intellect and brutally honest nature, Power Girl doesn’t take any crap from anyone. After being introduced in 1976 Power Girl quickly became one of the sexiest characters in DC Comics. Who could resist a woman with ginormous boobies and a red cape?

5. Mystique

Mystique is one of the sexiest female comic book characters

Our only complaint about Mystique is that she spends so much of her time looking like someone else. With enticing blue skin, mesmerizing yellow eyes and a flawless body, we think Mystique should never morph again. But this sensuous villain is one of the most heartless characters in the Marvel universe. She’s a seriously aggressive killer who loves chaos and violence above all else. Guess we’re just gluttons for punishment though because we want more of this dangerously desirable mutant.

4. Wonder Woman

Wonder woman sexy comic character

For eighty years now Wonder Woman has been an iconic and beloved superhero. By using her superhuman strength, speed and stamina to champion peace and justice for the planet, Diana of the Amazons has captured the hearts of millions. We’ve certainly appreciated her evolution over the last eight decades and love her current busty look. She’s sexy, smart and super kinky, always tying people up with that lasso of truth!

3. Emma Frost

Emma Frost sexy comic character

When it comes to cold-hearted sensuality Emma Frost can’t be beat. This beautiful and well endowed telepath is as violent as she is promiscuous. Which makes us like her even more. Always dressed in icey white outfits that highlight her piercing blue eyes and vivacious curves we love to hate this cold-blooded killer. When she isn’t seducing unsuspecting victims, Emma’s busy leading mutant armies and programming computers. Gotta love a talented multitasker.

2. Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy is one of the sexiest female comic book characters

With her pheromone wielding abilities, Poison Ivy is one of the most seductive supervillains in the DC universe. As deadly as she is beautiful, one touch or venomous kiss on the lips from her will send her victims into violent fits and seizures. Highly intelligent, Poison Ivy has no problems using her glorious body to get what she wants. This man hating eco-terrorist has a soft spot for Harley Quinn though, which makes for a very attractive and lethal pairing.

1. Vampirella

Vampirella is one of the sexiest female comic book characters

This blood thirsty and ferocious vampire is our reigning queen of sexy. Since her very first debut in 1969 Vampirella has enticed readers with her over the top sensuality and gory lust for blood. Being a good vampire out to defeat evil makes us love her even more. The fact that she’s been wearing the same skimpy, boob accentuating outfit for the last 53 years means she’s no stranger to scandal. There’s nothing sexier than a woman who doesn’t care one bit what the rest of the world thinks!

Vampirella is one of the sexiest female comic book characters

Well there you have it folks, our most beloved and sexiest female comic book characters. We know there are literally hundreds to choose from and that it’s a topic near and dear to your hearts. Leave a comment below to tell us who we missed or who you think should be number 1 and why. We’re happy to debate the mesmerizing merits of these lethal beauties all day long!

Girls go for a topless swim

Now that summer is finally here and the weather is starting to heat up, we're finding it very hard to keep our minds on work. Luckily for us, work involves looking at boobies so we figured instead of looking at breasts on the computer we’d go out into the open and see some topless tanning ta tas in person. Here’s a list of the 10 best beaches in the country to see real live naked boobies. Warning, many of these beaches are completely clothing optional so be prepared to see a lot more than just glistening nipples.

California

What do you get when you combine 840 miles of coastline with a massive free-love hippy scene and countless state and national parks? A whopping amount of nude beaches, at least 33 by our count. Stretching from the south to the north, you won’t have to travel far to get your bare sunbathing booby fix.

1. Blacks Beach - San Diego

San Diego beach

Considered one of the oldest and longest clothing-optional beaches in the country, Blacks Beach is famous for its wicked surf breaks and family-friendly nude beach. The fact that it’s difficult to get to is one of the reasons it’s remained a haven for those who love to play naked beach volleyball. Ya that’s a thing. So is naked surfing, be sure to keep an eye out for June’s breastimonial to read more about that.

2. Baker Beach- San Francisco

No surprise that the hippy capital of the world should have more nude beaches than anywhere else in the country. Baker Beach might not have the best swimming options. It’s known for its dangerous rip tides. But it does have a strong Burning Man vibe with great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and lots of naked frisbee throwing. Explore the jiggle physics of naked hacky sack.

Florida

No bikini at the beach

With 1,350 miles of shoreline and a love for β€œGirls Gone Wild” Florida makes it very easy to see as many glistening tities as you want to. We found 12 nude beaches listed in the Sunshine State and countless more with topless options.

3. Haulover Beach - Miami

Haulover Beach is the most popular nude beach in the country, getting up to 7,000 visitors in one day during Nude Recreation Week in July. We’re not even sure if we could handle that many oiled nipples in one place. Definitely worth a try though. At least drunken spring breakers won’t have to worry about pesky nipple slips here.

4. Playalinda- Cape Canaveral Seashore

This might be the most epic naked booby beach on the list. In one place you can see topless tanning beauties while drinking a beer and watching rockets rise. That’s not a euphemism. There are actual rockets launching from the nearby Kennedy Space Center.

Hawaii

What’s not to love about Hawaii? Paradise with tropical beaches, rugged volcanic scenery and drinks that come in coconuts with little umbrellas. Add to all of that the fact that sunbathing topless is legal on most beaches and you have the ultimate recipe for relaxation

5. Kehena Beach- Island of Hawaii

Naked at the beach

With over 10 nude beaches on the islands, it’s hard to choose just one to visit. However, when you combine the exquisitely exotic black sand beaches of Kehena Beach with bare breasts, it’s impossible to resist.

6. Las Vegas- Nevada

Topless pool

While there are no nude beaches in Las Vegas, there are a whole bunch of hotels and casinos that offer nude and European style sunbathing at their pools. Between naked weekend pool parties and topless poolside clubs, women don’t even have to bother with swimsuit shopping here. Our favorite spots to see skin in Sin City are:

  • The Mirage’s Bare Pool Lounge- Famous for being the first to bring topless swimming to Las Vegas and very popular with Europeans.

  • Tao Beach at the Venetian- voted the best club and pool party in the nation.

  • The Sapphire Pool Gentlemen’s Club-  Strippers swimming naked in a pool with bottle service. Enough said.

7. Gunnison Beach- New Jersey

Naked girl

This beach is right across the water from New York City, giving it a great view of the Manhattan skyline. Making this one of the country’s busiest nude beaches. Originally it was an army base where soldiers would swim naked off duty. After the base closed down, the nudity stuck around. We also love that this is another one of those rare beaches where you can drink alcohol and be naked. God bless America.

8. Collins Beach - Oregon

This clothing-optional beach is actually on the Columbia River just outside of Portland. We love that Portlandians are pro nudity. Pacific Northwest weather only allows for a few months of naked frolicking throughout the year, so next time it’s sunny and you're in Portland, run out to Suave Island and get some vitamin D.

9. Moshup Beach - Massachusetts

Topless beaches

This idyllic Martha's Vineyard spot is the perfect place to watch the sunset and see some gloriously naked breasts. We love the contrast between the typically conservative Martha’s Vineyard vibe and this wild hedonistic hotspot. Just think how much better that Jaws movie poster would have been if the girl had been swimming naked.

10. Hippie Hollow - Texas

Just outside of Austin sits Lake Travis. Home to the Hippie Hollow State Park. The only clothing optional state park in Texas. So not only can you swim around bare buoyant boobies, but you can also barbecue up some hot dogs and go for a naked hike. We love to see a hippie stronghold right in the middle of the state's capitol.

With so many eye-popping places to visit this summer, we suggest you start booking your next vacation now. Packing will be light and easy. All you need is your birthday suit and your favorite booby shaped pillow. It’s time to give your screens a rest and go out and see the real thing.

It’s our job to study breasts in all their glorious shapes and sizes so we can deliver the very best booby-shaped pillow. In our many hours of arduous booby research, we’ve come across a fascinating bit of historical trivia. The breast and its voluminous shape has been making man thirsty for thousands of years. It’s time to educate the world on the titillating history of booby-shaped drinking vessels.

Marie Antoinette's breast glasses

Did Marie Antoinette’s Left Breast become the Champagne Glass?

Many of you may have heard it said that the Champagne coupe was molded after Marie Antoinette’s left breast. The delicately curved coupe glass does resemble a perfectly perky breast. However, because the coupe was invented in England a hundred years before Marie Antoinette became Queen of France, we know that this is just a myth.

But we don’t really care if the story is true or not. What we care about is the fact that this legend did indeed inspire two very lovely supermodels, Claudia Schiffer and Kate Moss to have their left breasts cast in order to produce Champagne glasses of their very own.

Claudia Schiffer wet top

Claudia Schiffer

For the reasonable price of $3,150, you can buy a porcelain coupe designed by Karl Lagerfeld from a mold of Claudia Schiffer’s beautiful bosom. They’ll also throw in a bottle of 1995 Dom Perignon. The coupe even comes complete with a rosy nipple that you can cradle in your hands.

Next time you’re in London, be sure to pop into restaurant 34 and order a glass of Champagne. The intricate art deco coupe you’ll be putting your lips to was made in honor of Kate Moss’ 40th birthday, to celebrate her 25 years in the fashion industry. The curvy shape of the glass is based on her left breast.

Why always the left? Statistically speaking 65% of women have a slightly larger left breast. So it makes sense if you want the maximum amount of Champagne for your buck.

The Best Breasts in Paris

Long before supermodels were placing their boobs in plaster an American living in Paris during the 1930s was taking the city by storm with her perfect breasts. Lee Miller, a model, photographer and muse of the surrealist artist Man Ray was famous for having the very best breasts in the city. A rich patron insisted on having coupes made from her breasts so he could drink from them whenever he wanted.

Nipple bowl

Marie Antoinette’s Nipple Bowls

Back to Marie Antoinette. Now we know the coupe wasn’t shaped after her breasts but her husband king Louis XVI did gift her a lovely set of porcelain β€˜bol seins’ or breast cups. Apparently, Marie was quite fond of cosplay and enjoyed dressing up as a dairymaid. She also encouraged French noblewomen to breastfeed their babies.

Knowing Marie’s love for all things lactation her thoughtful husband commissioned a set of four β€˜jatte tetons’ to me be made in her honor and used during tea service. These delicate nipple bowls would go on to inspire Karl Lagerfeld’s design for Dom Perignon.

Helen of Troy painting

Helen of Troy and Her Life-Saving Boobs

While many people know that Helen of Troy had a face that launched a thousand ships few people are aware that her breasts were even more famous. In a desperate attempt to save her life from her jilted murderous husband Helen ripped open her dress, revealing her glorious rack. The sight of which was so awe-inspiring that Menelaus laid down his sword and instantly forgave her for causing the 10-year-long Trojan War.

A temple on the island of Rhodes is said to have kept a drinking vessel that was shaped like her breast. The chalice was worshipped as a symbol of fertility. Legend says the vessel was so beautiful that Helen offered it as a gift to the goddess of love, Aphrodite. Proving that even Aphrodite herself could not resist such a salacious sight.

Booby shaped bowl

Ancient Drunken Orgies

Even before Helen’s breasts were saving lives the ancient Greeks were drinking from booby-shaped bowls or mastos. These ceramic bowls were often used in fertility rituals and ceremonies honoring the god of wine, Dionysus. The mastos depicted women drinking wine and dancing around with satyrs who had huge engorged members. Reminding us all that kinky sex is not a modern invention.

Considering the breast is first and foremost a vessel to be suckled it makes sense that man has always sought to emulate that primal action. Here at Booby Pillow, we hope that more people are inspired to make jug-shaped jugs and bring back the nipple bowls for your next tea service.

What else comes in the shape of Boobs?

Motherhood is a sacred thing and at Booby Pillow we’d like to honor that sanctity by celebrating 10 smoking hot MILFs who prove that moms can still be sexy. We firmly support a woman’s right to flaunt her curves whenever she wants.

Demi Moore

Pregnant Demi Moore

No conversation about sexy moms would be complete without Demi Moore, who shocked the world by appearing pregnant and naked on the August cover of Vanity Fair back in 1991. Moore gave pregnant women everywhere permission to celebrate their changing bodies and embrace their sexuality. She then went on to star in both GI Jane and Striptease shortly after giving birth to her third child. Showing the world that moms can kick major ass and shake their pasties too.

β€œI feel it’s possible to do all those thingsβ€”to have a career, be a mother, still be beautiful and sexy. It doesn’t stop you from being who you are to have a babyβ€”absolutely not. I mean even on a sexual level, I’ve never felt more beautiful or sexy or more appreciated by my husband than when I’ve been pregnant.”
— Demi Moore

Beyonce

BeyoncΓ© in lingerie

A year after having her first child Beyonce dropped one of the sexiest albums ever made. Her self titled Beyonce album had songs that talked explicitly about sex and postpartum depression. Giving the world a naughty voyeuristic glimpse into the private lives of pop royalty. Take a look at the β€œPartition” video where Beyonce sings about having sex with her husband Jay Z in the back of a limo while the chauffeur tries not to crash!!!! That’s our kind of date night. Celebrate her birthday in this article.

β€œI don’t have any shame at all about being sexual. I’m not embarrassed about it and I don’t feel like I have to protect that side of me because I do believe that sexuality is a power that we all have.”
— Beyonce

Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara in a brown bikini

Few people know that one of the highest paid actresses in television spent most of her early career as a struggling single mom. Vergara married her highschool sweetheart at the age of 18 and had her son Manolo two years later. The couple divorced shortly after and Vergara raised their son on her own. Brilliant, strong, funny and sexy there is nothing Sofia can’t do. She’s also a fashion icon.

β€œIt’s fantastic, because I’m almost 40 years old and they still f**king put me on these lists of beautiful women! How can I even be in a list with girls who are 15 years younger than me? People are crazy. My son, Manolo, laughs at that too. To him, I’m an ordinary mom. To him, I’m an old woman. It’s hilarious!”
— Sofia Vergara

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn in a movie

We’ve loved Olivia Munn since she started deep throating hot dogs and rolling around in baby oil on our favorite techie program Attack of the Show! back in 2006. Since then she’s gone on to star in major Hollywood blockbusters like X-Men: Apocalypse and Iron Man 2. On top of having a black belt in taekwondo she just became a mother in September of 2021. Making her a sexy mom who kicks ass and makes us laugh all while wearing a Princess Leia bikini. So many fantasies rolled into one.

Cardi B

Blonde Cardi B

One of the reasons we love Cardi B so much is because she is unapologetically herself, no matter what. Cardi B has spoken out against all the critics out there saying she should change who she is now that she’s a mom. But moms deserve to let loose too so keep on twerking Cardi, we support you!

β€œOne day, my daughter’s gonna see my body and she’s gonna see me twerking and it’s like, β€˜Would it make a difference if I did it after or before her?’ It’s still out there. I feel like moms who do wanna feel sexy can be. I don’t feel like once you become a mom, you supposed to be this nun.”
— Cardi B

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek in a bikini

Salma Hayek had us from the minute she started dancing with that snake in From Dusk till Dawn

Unarguably one of the sexiest women in the world, Salma says that having a baby has finally allowed her to feel comfortable in her body. What’s even more amazing is that Hayek didn’t have her daughter Valentina, until she was 41. We’re not worthy of such divine beauty!

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera in a pink tight dress

This pop icon is one of the world's best selling musical artists and a mother of two. Christina somehow finds the time to drop new albums, star in tv shows and movies, be a coach on the Voice and raise her kids. All the while celebrating her body in all of its voluptuous shapes and sizes. We salute this supermom!

β€œMothers can be very sexy, baby…I do find it important that as a mother, you don’t give up your sexuality…All mothers are superstars in my eyes. You need to make time for everything. For work, for family, for play. It’s important to keep your own happiness alive. Only then will you be able to make people around you happy.”
— Christina Aguilera

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen topless photoshoot

What’s not to love about Chrissy Teigen? A former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model turned cookbook author and TV host who loves to laugh and make us laugh. Teigen’s brutal honesty about the hilarious realities of married life and motherhood make us appreciate her even more. She reminds us that sexy doesn’t always have to be glamorous and painstakingly put together.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansoon nipple slip

No sexy list could be complete without ScarJo. What makes Scarlett so great is that she would rather her kids’ classmates know her as the mom who brings the good snacks to class than the Black Widow. Everybody loves the mom with the β€˜good snacks’!

Scarlett Johanson as Black Widow

β€œThe biggest joy that I have is looking at my daughter. When I’m just hanging out with her and we’re doing silly stuff and if I make her laugh, the feeling of joy I have is explosive…If only you could actually bottle that and carry it around.”
— Scarlett Johansson

Rihanna

Young Rihanna

Ok so technically Rihanna is a sexy mother to be, but when we found out she was pregnant there was no way we could leave her off the list. Just like Demi Moore before her, Rihanna is once again shaking up the public’s notion of what a pregnant woman should be. This fierce pop singer refuses to even look at maternity clothes and has not toned down her bold fashion choices one bit. Check out the May issue of Vogue to see Rihanna on the cover in a see through red lace bodysuit celebrating her baby bump. The striking photo shoot was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz who also did the iconic Vanity Fair cover with Demi Moore back in 1991. Way to go Annie, making pregnant women feel beautiful and sexy for over thirty years!

Pregnant Rihanna in a bodysuit

β€œI’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered β€˜decent’ for pregnant women. My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
— Rihanna

The greatest gift we can give to all the moms around the world is to appreciate them for who they are. Strong, beautiful, loving and caring women who are sexy as hell!

Is it someone else?

A Salute to the Iconic Playboy Bunny

Easter was here and while many people were busy filling baskets with pastel colored eggs and chocolate rabbits we thought it appropriate to spend this holiday celebrating our favorite bunny, the Playboy Bunny. So let’s hop into the enticing world of buxom bunnies.

Playboy Trio

Easter was here and while many people were busy filling baskets with pastel colored eggs and chocolate rabbits we thought it appropriate to spend this holiday celebrating our favorite bunny, the Playboy Bunny. So let’s hop into the enticing world of buxom bunnies.

Dolly Parton was the first country singer to pose for Playboy in 1978

In 1978 Dolly Parton became the first country singer to pose for Playboy

  • Famous for their sexual prowess and energetic mating habits, Hugh Hefner decided the rabbit was the perfect symbol for his newly launched Playboy magazine in 1953. A tuxedo was added to give the mascot an air of sophistication and one of the most recognizable brand logos was born.

Blonde in playboy suit
  • The Playboy Bunny as we know her today did not emerge until 1960 with the opening of the very first Playboy Club in Chicago. The female staff were originally meant to wear frilly nighties but Hef’s business partners were concerned that all that extra material would make it difficult for the girls to serve drinks and light cigarettes.

  • The first prototype was a basic bathing suit over a corset with some bunny ears and a tail. Not sexy enough, Hugh had the bikini line cut into a dramatic V shape that exposed the girl’s hip bones and elongated their legs. Eventually a man’s tuxedo collar, bow tie and cuffs were added to match the Playboy logo.

  • The uniform was a flattering design that harkened back to the 1950’s when women had hourglass figures and bullet bras

β€œThe costumes took girls with even average figures and made them look like they had amazing figures…not all Bunnies were bombshells. The suit made the Bunny, not the other way around.”
— Hugh Heffner
Playboy girls
  • In 1969 the original yarn bunny tail had to be replaced by one made of fire-retardant fur because the drunk patrons kept trying to light them on fire.

  • At the Chicago club some of the Bunnies were known to make up to $1,000 a week in cash tips in 1961. Today that would be over $9,000 a week!

β€œThe feminists used to say to us, β€˜You’re selling out. You’re being exploited.’ But we never felt that. We felt that we were the first women we knew that bought their own [apartments] as single women. To me, it was emancipation. It was empowering.”
— Former Bunny Trish Murphy
  • Although some Bunnies went on to become Playmates and pose for the magazine most of the girls worked at the clubs to put themselves through college or get started in their dream jobs. Model Lauren Hutton and singer Debbie Harry are both former Bunnies. Aretha Franklin started singing at the Playboy Club in Chicago when she was 18.

β€œYou could reinvent yourself completely. You went from the schoolgirl to this glam person, and you could be anything. You could put on a French accent and call yourself FiFi. It was a way of discovering yourself and playing around…and exploring your sexuality.
”
— Former Bunny Kathryn Leigh Scott

  • The Playboy Club empire spanned the globe with locations all over the US, London, Japan and even Manilla. The last of the clubs closed in 1986 but the Playboy Bunny continues to live on at live events and on magazine covers.

The Science of Video Game Boobs Jiggle Physics

Imagine how much easier high school physics would have been if your teacher had used the example of a giant pair of breasts swinging back and forth to explain Newton’s first law of inertia. Well here at Booby Pillow we feel like it’s our duty not only to entertain you with bountiful boobies but also to educate you. So let's have a serious discussion about the science behind β€˜jiggle physics’.

Jiggle physics (English)

Noun

jiggle physics (uncountable)

  1. (video games) The art of portraying the bouncing or swaying of breasts on a 3D model.

Boobies jiggle

You may remember Mai Shiranui, who came in at number two on our list of the Ten Sexiest Video Game Vixens, as being the very first female character to feature bouncing boobies. Back in 1992 when video games were still 2D, the developers  of King of Fighters were the first to realize they could devote extra memory to Mai’s mesmerizing mammary glands because there were less characters on the screen at one time. As technology and games progressed into 3D the science of jiggle physics was born.

How They Get Those Boobies Wobbling

During the development stages of a video game each character is built from a model. The model is made up of a skeleton of β€˜bones’ that exist underneath the skin and clothing. Each bone is connected with a joint that gives it its range of motion. Even clothing and hair are rigged with the same spring loaded joints. Games with fewer characters or larger graphic engines can afford to devote more memory to their female character’s undulating lady bits.

Some games may only have enough space for one joint to be programmed into the chest area. Resulting in two breasts that move in a uniform manner. But in games that have fewer characters or better engines the bosoms can have up to four joints in them allowing for individual movement and a far greater range of motion.

Physics of boobies jiggle

Multiple joints doesn’t necessarily  equal more realistic movements as many animators still struggle to depict the natural wobble and shake of a woman’s breast. But really jiggle physics is more about fueling the fantasy than being natural.  What’s reality got to do with a video game that features a character who battles demons from hell wearing nothing but a strapless bra?

Sexy videogame warrior with huge boobs

When an animator is working on the motion of a character’s breasts they have to consider:

  • Jiggle range- the maximum range of motion the joint is allowed to pivot

  • Duration of the Jiggle- the time is takes for the movement to be absorbed after the initial motion

  • Speed of the Jiggle- how fast and frequently each wave of force travels through each ta ta

Skyrim girl videogame bouncing boobs

The video game series Dead or Alive was the first to really capitalize on its bouncing beauties. Back in 2004 the game’s creator Tomonobu Itagaki caught a lot of slack for the amount of jiggle his female fighters had but he was unashamed of the fact.

β€œI wanted to do something that would attract people’s attention as I worked on the DOA game. Of course, DOA is known for its bouncing breasts…when I applied Breast Physics to a 3D game, it was almost too much for people.”
— Tomonobu Itagaki

The DOA developers also coined the expression β€˜Breast Physics’ and were the first to give players the ability to customize the amount of jiggle their characters had which was a huge selling point for the series. They eventually went on to release a game that is now infamous for having the most blatant use of jiggle physics ever made, Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Which features only female characters on a tropical Island playing beach volleyball and wearing tiny bikinis that often experience wardrobe malfunctions. It was never released in the US but there are plenty of hilarious clips of it on YouTube.

Dead or alive beach volleyball bouncy boobs
  • Sure the game features gratuitous use of jiggle physics as the girls jump up and down in their barely there bikinis but is that really any worse than the amount of gratuitous violence most video games have?

After DOA popularized the β€˜breast slider’ many games started allowing their players to choose the size and amount of bounce for their female characters. Even games that choose to tone down their jiggle physics often have mods that the players can add to alter the wobble themselves. A lot of people complain that the constant bouncing distracts from playing the game. To which we say, if you can’t focus on the ax wielding murderer in front of you because her gargantuan boobs are bursting out of her armoured corset, then that’s survival of the fittest. A true warrior uses every weapon they have to defeat their opponent,  including their fun bags.

Character creation videogames

Some developers are even turning their attention towards male jiggle physics or shall we say β€˜dangle’ physics. Conan Exiles is a step towards equality in that yes you can manipulate the size of your female character’s breast but you can also endow your male character with a dong the size of an elephant trunk. Then marvel as he runs around the desert naked squatting and jumping with a perfect range of dangle motion. Makes one wonder how many gym locker rooms the animators had to frequent to get that tea bag effect just right?

As booby aficionados we appreciate any science that brings us more tantalizing bounces and titillating wobbles. If you feel like you need to do some more research on this fascinating subject, here's a video of Xtreme Beach Volleyball’s wardrobe malfunctions. Happy bouncing!

We’re talking about the gaming universe and it’s time to celebrate all that we love about our favorite female video game bombshells. From sexy demons to lady ninjas let’s dive face first into the gravity defying bosoms of these lethal vixens.

#10 Isabela- Dragon Age II

Isabela Pirate Queen

Coming in at number ten on our list is sexy Isabela, the pirate queen from Dragon Age II. Who doesn’t love a busty pirate wench in thigh high cavalier boots? Isabela’s character is sassy, debaucherous and fun. Not only is she a roaring good time but also a kick ass dueler who can be a love interest for both the male and female protagonist. Say what? A beautiful rogue who goes both ways definitely deserves a spot on this list.

#9 Kaine- NieR

Kaine sexy character

With her insane fighting skills and unique backstory, this hot tempered intersex half-human half shade captures our hearts. She swears like a sailor while running around destroying her enemies in skimpy lingerie and black kitten heels. Kaine makes mummy bandages look hot and cracks us up everytime she starts running her trucker mouth.

#8 Camilla- Fire Emblem Series

Camilla sexy videogame

Two words: Armored Corset! Camilla is famous for being one of the bustiest characters in the gaming universe. This elegant and sultry babe is also a ruthless and bloodthirsty warrior who likes to store important items in her massive cleavage. We love making her pull things out of her storage chest. Where’s that darn map? We also enjoy it when the player runs into and bounces off her bountiful boobs.

#7 Rayne- Bloodrayne

Rayne in bloodrayne

This alluring red headed dhampir (half vampire half human) is the main protagonist of the Bloodrayne series. She is sadistically seductive in her black and red leather dominatrix outfit. We love her bold snarky attitude and fondness for profanity. Not to mention her terrifyingly lethal tendencies. This one likes to play with her victims first, and derives pleasure from seeing their fear and pain. She makes our blood run hot and cold at the same time.

#6 Morrigan Aensland- Darkstalkers

Morrigan

Everyone’s favorite succubus. We’re not the only ones bewitched by this sultry seductress, Morrigan has millions of fans worldwide. With her beauty, confidence and sexy playful nature, she’s become Darkstalkers most famous character. Morrigan has surpassed her video game origins and is now one of Japan’s most recognizable characters. Spawning a whole host of succubi media, manga, pornographic films and animated series. Her signature green hair, ample bosom and purple tights can be seen all over the cosplay world and we like it.

#5 Chun Li- Streetfighter

No list would be complete without paying respects to the very first female character in a fighting video game. Chun Li has been using those sexy thighs to kick butt since 1991. Countless boys have gone to bed staring at posters of Chun Li on their walls in her cute little qipao dress and matching buns. This courageous Interpol officer will always be our first video game crush.

#4 Ivy Valentine- Soul Calibur

Ivy Valentine videogame with huge boobs

Ivy Valentine’s breasts are so big they’ve become infamous. Many critics claim that video games have gone too far, and the breast sizes are getting indecent. Namco’s response?  Make em bigger and run an ad campaign featuring nothing but an image of her glorious cleavage and the words β€œGo big, or go home!” written in Japanese across her chest. This busty combatant takes some serious skill to play though and is more than just her skimpy bondage gear and voluminous breasts. Ivy’s a fierce fighter with Machiavellian tendencies.

# 3 Quiet- Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain

Quiet- Metal Gear Solid

This elite assassin doesn’t need words to enthrall us. Sure there are bigger racks out there but Quiet’s ability to murder while dressed only in combat boots and a black bikini have earned her a top spot on this list. Just watch her playfully rolling around in the rain or taking a shower  and you’ll be just as obsessed as we are. Quiet may be silent, but she sure is deadly.

#2 Mai Shiranui- The King of Fighters

Mai Shiranui

The β€˜Knockout’ Ninja has been hypnotizing us with her signature β€˜kunoichi’ or bouncing fighting style since 1992. Mai has become one of the absolute most popular female characters in the fighting game genre worldwide. This cheerful yet temperamental ninja was the first to feature floating boobs. Something that has been highly criticized over the years. Not by us, or any of her legions of loyal fans who threatened to boycott King of Fighters when they thought to release a version of the game without her. Thousands responded by chanting β€œNo Mai No Buy!” and we agree.

#1 Lara Croft- Tomb Raider

Lara Croft
Lara Croft breasts evolution

By today’s standards Lara Croft may not seem that well endowed but back in 1996 when Tomb Raider first came into our lives, she was the epitome of female sexuality. Proving that a tight tank top and pair of short shorts can be just as titulating as bondage gear. There’s no denying her spot at number one. Lara Croft has graced the cover of more magazines than any supermodel or actress and is by far the most successful selling female video game heroine of all time. This adventuring archeologist has raided our dreams and stolen our hearts!

We spent many difficult hours playing with these women trying to decide who should be on the list. Who’s your favorite?

Didn't see your favorite video game bombshell? Leave a comment below and tell us who we missed and why.
